Labrador Park

Taking bus 408 from Habour Front interchange, Stephanie and I managed to get to Labrador Park. The bus driver actually missed the opening to the park and had to make two U-turns to get back there again.

The weather was not so good but was forgiving enough for us to explore finish the park.

Ominous clouds lerks our ports.

We were greeting by many wild lives and plants. Interesting plants and creepy crawlers infested the area. In fact the park is bombarded with the heavy sounds waves of crickets.

Carrot-like flower and a dome of flowers.

Just how pleasing is the nature. Unlike those when army wants you to get into.

Check out the rocks there.

Creepy crawlies.

Part of the Dragon teeth gate. It was said that every ships that came into Singapore had to come through this gate, else the ship will sink. However it was blow up to allow larger ships to come in when the british came to Singapore. Of course this is a fake. Wonder where is the real one.

Labrador Park was actually once a fort to saveguard Singapore from pirates and invaders from the seas. This place actually held a gun battery in the nature reserve area pointing out towards the south-west area of Singapore.

A gun was at the spot of tree shrubs before it was removed.

A dummy gun with dummies. Lol.

We ended our tour here at the secret tunnel that is known to lead to Sentosa.

Steph said the food here was nice. I thought it would be a nice place to bring my future partner here for a date. With the nice ambiance, I am sure to score. Lol.
